CHALLENGE
The aging populations is on the rise, the need for scalable, person-centered solutions in care is more urgent than ever. Two core challenges stand out: maintaining independence despite age-related limitations and addressing social isolation. While there are plenty of standalone solutions, what’s missing is a unified, user-friendly system that works in everyday life.
The goal is to provide older adults with quick and easy access to medical and non-medical support, while promoting safety, comfort and social contact.
Insight
Through close collaboration with adults in need, care professionals, and senior living facilities, we identified what truly matters: solutions must be simple, intuitive, and trustworthy. People’s routines shouldn’t have to adapt to technology — instead, technology should fit into their lives through voice-based interaction, which was identified as important.
Combining voice control with smart IoT sensors makes it possible to detect needs early, before they become a problem. This approach supports autonomy and enhances there quality of life.


SOLUTION
EMILIO is a digital concierge system designed for assisted living environments. It combines intelligent voice recognition with personalized sensor data to identify needs and offer tailored services — from health support to social interaction.
The platform learns the daily routines, analyzes behavioral patterns, and adapts dynamically. Users gain seamless access to healthcare, community services, and everyday support—enabling a safer, more connected, and self-determined life.
